Yoga Pilates Fusion 

Yoga Pilates Fusion is a yoga class with the core connection and conditioning of mat pilates, you get  the best of both! We connect to the breath, we move, we flow, whilst also building essential core and pelvic floor strength to prevent lower back pain. This integrated style of yoga will increase stability, strength and flexibility and leave you feeling fabulous.

Why am I making these changes to classes? 

 

I trained as a CYQ level 3 Pilates teacher in 2012 and used to teach it regularly.  Yoga was always my first love, but my body was the strongest and most toned it has ever been when practising Pilates.  I decided to focus more on yoga investing in more teacher trainings.  However, recently I have been struggling with lower back pain and the only thing to give me relief is Pilates. I am now doing a second teacher training and feel my clients could benefit from what I am learning. I am therefore integrating elements of it into all of my classes.

How will my classes change?

The classes will still look and feel the same we will start with breathwork both dynamic give us energy shift and more relaxing to balance and calm. We will connect to the core and move into our main yoga practise and then finish with Pilates and relaxing stretches.

Who are my classes for?

The classes are for all levels, easy and more advanced options will always be given. My target audience are women 40 who this practise will benefit the most as estrogen declines our core muscles get weaker and we are more in need of this core strength to lead happy and fulfilled lives.

Format of Classes, When they run, How to Book

Classes will run both in person in Valencia and online live and all recordings willbe stored in our library which all monthly subscribers get full access to.

 

I do not like my classes to be the same every week, I like to work with themes and teach what inspires me, however all classes will include:

 

  • Dynamic and relaxing yoga breathing practises at the start and meditation

  • Yoga standing, balancing and relaxing poses

  • Pilates core activation stabilization and strengthening poses

  • Stretching and releasing to increase flexibility and calm the nervous system

  • Chanting and spiritual connection 

 

When they run and how to book

In person classes are held in L'Elliana and Lliria and online classes are held on Zoom:

 

  • Yoga in the park Saturday 9am and Tuesday 10am (CET)

  • Yoga online Tuesday 18.00 and Friday 9.30 am (GMT)

  • Book Class by visiting class schedule page

A one to one session is a way to really help you focus on whatever you need in your life. We can look at your needs and desires and create a practice tailored for you. I have been teaching yoga since 2011 and a Pilates teacher since 2012 so I have lots of experience to share with you.  Choose if you want to book a one off session or multiple it’s totally up to you! 

Coaching Consultation - 1 hour

This 60 minute session will help you to identify your symptoms which can give you a better idea of how to manage them. 

Private Yoga - 1 hour

If you prefer a tailored yoga session at a time that suits you then this 60 minute yoga practice is all yours!
